The love of cooking spans three generations. My grandmother Mary could burn in the kitchen. And my mother
Willie Mae is accustomed to having people fight over her wonderful cuisine. As for me, I love to cook for my family,
friends, and neighbors. What I love most is creating new dishes and quick desserts.
The kitchen is a place of adventure!
My fondest memories was creating a dessert for my daughter Shanelle and my son Brian when they were
teenagers. I thought if my new dessert could pass their teen-tastebuds, I had a hit.
Well one spoonful they were hooked.
They raved over how delicious my dessert tasted. Every time I made it they commented, "you think you're bad" in other
words, mom your right up there with the most experienced chefs. ha ha... Well, I'm glad they enjoyed it so
